5.0 out of 5 stars GTX 560 Gigabyte Review, January 30, 2012
This review is from: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 560 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 2x DVI-I / mini-HDMI SLI Ready Graphics Card, GV-N56GOC-1GI (Personal Computers)
I just bought this card the other day after my old Radeon HD 4850 bit the dust. I did a bunch of research and was really leaning toward the 570 but the price on it was quite high and I couldn't quite justify a 0 card for my current needs.

I went with this GTX 560 and could not be happier. It runs cool, quiet, and fast. It has played all my games in the high settings without a hiccup. I was at all low to medium settings for Star Wars the Old Republic with my HD 4850, and this GTX 560 bumped me up to a much smoother High Settings across the board.

Future proofing, I read that running the GTX 560 setup in SLI bests even the GTX 580! So down the road if I need the extra power for newer games, I can plug in another 560 and end up having a package that will be second only to the 590...and for nearly the price of the single 570. - [...]

All in all, very happy with this purchase so far...will update as I use it with newer games.

Even under heavy CUDA compute loading (not video related), card temperature stays under 77C. Fans are quiet, I just barely hear them over the top of the noise from the fans in the laptop that sits 2 feet away. When I stop CUDA loads, card temperature and fan speed drop dramatically.

I have tried to stress this video card with everything I can by maxing out graphic settings on every game I play, and there is no viable lag or choppiness in any way. I'm not a serious gamer, nor do I run more than one display. I recommend this card to anyone who wants to play the latest games.
